leading the teams

Darlene Agag
is a 20-year veteran of corporate America who understands the challenges of balancing meaningful work and a busy home life. A former Senior Vice President with Fox Networks, she earned a reputation for creating innovative strategic partnerships, cultivating collaborative client and cross-company relationships, and consistently generating millions of dollars in revenue.
As both an employee and a senior-level manager, Darlene witnessed the disruption and stress caused by changes in job responsibilities and office locations. However it wasn’t until her family relocated to northern New Jersey from Manhattan that Darlene personally experienced how overwhelming it can be to move and adjust to new surroundings while remaining productive at work.
That’s when the idea for Suburban Settlers was born. Today, Darlene combines her entrepreneurial spirit, extensive network, and affinity for delivering highly customized services and solutions to help her clients manage their transition seamlessly.
Darlene is an active member of the Morris Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Worldwide ERC and North Jersey-Rockland SHRM.
Karen Cardamone
Karen's background as a business owner, special needs educator, and busy mom of four make her uniquely qualified to understand and troubleshoot the challenges families and individuals face when relocating. After meeting Darlene Agag through the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce, she felt an instant connection with the mission and vision of Suburban Settlers and was eager to join the team.
Karen is no stranger to the stresses of moving: she has relocated to various U.S. cities no less than 14 times with her family and dogs in tow. Her personal experience has shaped her ability to handle all the complexities involved with moving and knowledgeably troubleshoot issues that crop up in the process.
